USMS M/LA EMPLOYEES FLOOD RELIEF
During the recent floods which ravaged the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area several United States Marshals Service employees (administrative and operational) and Special Deputy U.S. Marshals (Court Security Officers) lost their homes and/or many of their earthly possessions.
The Board of Directors of the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund has approved an amendment to our by-laws and is asking for your donations to assist these families as they cope with the reality of rebuilding their lives after these devastating floods. All monies donated through the GoFundMe site https://www.gofundme.com/SBFhelps will go directly to the M/LA families and not to the Fund’s general account.
No existing Survivors Benefit Fund monies are being used in this fundraising effort.
If you prefer to make a donation by check please do so through our good friends at the United States Marshals Service Association (www.usmsa.com) at the following address:
20488 Cedar Bluff Road
Fayetteville, AR 72703
More information can be found on the internal United States Marshals Service intranet site and email announcements, and by visiting the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund FaceBook page.
Thank you for your support!
