The Marshals 225th Anniversary Golf Classic Raises Over $80,000 for the Fund!

[10.08.15]

The Marshals 225th Anniversary Golf Classic, held on October 5, 2015, raised over $80,000 for the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund (SBF), due in part to a moving testimonial video from Dr. Channing Wells, surviving spouse of DUSM Josie Wells.

As part of the Marshals 225th Anniversary Golf Classic, a Commemorative Rifle Raffle was held. Thanks to the high participation in the raffle, all 1000 tickets were sold, and over $15,000 was raised for the SBF!

Congratulations to the winners of the Commemorative Rifle Raffle:

1st Place – Amy Fields (daughter of a USMS employee), won and selected the Deputy U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves Commemorative Rifle

2nd Place – Bob Tompkins (friend of a USMS employee), won the 225th Anniversary Commemorative Rifle

Additionally, Rocky Delmonaco, a retired USSS Special Agent and three-time attendee of the outing, outbid the crowd at the Marshals 225th Anniversary Golf Classic to take home a Deputy U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves Commemorative Rifle.

The SBF is grateful for the support that it has received from USMS employees at the 225thAnniversary events. The SBF is now a CFC charity, #15158.
