E/PA Hosts 3rd Annual Police Week BBQ

On May 16, 2013, the U.S. Marshals Service in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania hosted their 3rd Annual Police Week BBQ. The generosity of the Deputies and their families, fellow law enforcement officers, and courthouse employees raised $3,700 for the Fund. This is the largest donation ever received from a district and the second year in a row E/PA has made us their fundraiser recipient. Thanks to E/PA for being our strongest supporter!

2nd Annual John Perry Golf Benefit

The Board of Directors would like to thank the organizers and participants of the 2nd Annual John Perry Golf Benefit held on July 13, 2012. Their extraordinary generosity donated $8,000.00 to the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund. A $4,000.00 donation was made in honor of Senior Inspector John Perry. Another $4,000.00 donation was made in loving memory of Louis Oliver, son of Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Michael Oliver.

First Donation

The selfless actions of Davan Gabbard from S/NY recently raised $11,894.73 for the Survivors Benefit Fund. This was the first donation received from the efforts of a Deputy. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the generosity of USMS employees who purchased a 2012 Police Week shirt. Thanks to all who contributed. Special thanks to Davan for your devotion to our mission.

Grand Opening

The U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund officially opens its doors to Marshals Service employees, private contributors, and corporate donors. To support our mission, Director Stacia A. Hylton of the United States Marshals Service made the official announcement today to the men and women of America's oldest federal law enforcement agency.
